Do I have to pay anything to become an affiliate?
Absolutely Not! Our affiliate program is absolutely, positively 100% FREE! If you're reading this you're already an affiliate.

Now that I'm an affiliate, how do I earn money?
We provide you with a Unique URL or link that you can distribute to friends, family, co-workers and othr business contacts. When people click on that link and sign-up for a Tellem account, we track this and that user now becomes a potential income generator for you. Whenever that person purchases credits under the account they created you earn 20%!

When and how do I get paid?
Cheques are mailed out on the 10th of each month. In order to receive a cheque you must have a minimum balance of $25. If your balance is less than $25, we simply carry your balance over from month to month until you reach the $25 level. Please note that due to geographic distances, cheques can take up to 2 weeks to be delivered.

Also due to credit card processing items (chargebacks etc.) we hold the funds for 60 days. So when purchases are made by your affiliates we retain those monies for 60 days and then on the next payout cycle if you have a minimum of $25 owing to you, this is when you would see payment.

All funds issued are in Canadian Currency.

Can I get paid when I want to?
Unfortunately we need to maintain a strict schedule for payments so we cannot customize your payouts to be on a specific date. Please note that due to geographic distances, cheques can take up to 2 weeks to be delivered.

What's lifetime residual income mean?
This basically means that each time an affiliate of yours purchases email credits, you will earn a 20% commission of the purchase. So you earn income for as long as your affiliates are using the Tellem system. You don't have to do anything at all but cash your cheques.

How do I promote my unique url to people?
There are many ways in which to promote your unique url. You can easily add the link to your website or blog, include it in your email signature and through print advertising in newspapers or magazines. Be sure to visit our promotional ideas section for more details.

What do typical people earn as an affiliate?
This varies widely depending on how active people are in marketing their unique url and also how active their affiliates are in using the Tellem system. For example if you had say 2 people per month signup using your unique url and each of those people purchased $100/year in email credits you would stand to earn $480/year for basically doing nothing. Now if you had a larger business sign up under your account and they sent very large volumes of emails you could expect much more income. So it's all dependant on how many clients you get to signup and their email sending habits.
